The Mighty Niagara

No matter how many times in my life I have been to the Canadian version of Niagara Falls~ and living only 40minutes away, I can tell you it's alot~ I am awed and amazed at the power of Mother Nature. To lean over the rails at the brink of the Falls still takes my breath away.
If you ever want to come see it, I will take you there. It is the fast moving river that connects the fresh water lakes of Erie and Ontario. It is the world's Holy Grail of mood-lifting negative ions. It is thunder and rainbows and mist and magic. It is, indeed, the Mighty Niagara.

    Gorgeous.

God. The power of it always takes my breath away. That feeling that we are nothing, we are SPECKS to Mother Nature. We are, alas, small, weak animals when compared to her potential furry and wrath.

The Falls totally FREAK me out and I love them.

And yes, being an Erie girl, I have been there SO MANY times. :)

  2. I think Christine pegged it when she wrote: "God." That majestic power is awesome. When I stand before the awesome power of Nature, I always feel more at peace, at home in this world. Thank you for the awe-inspiring photos!

  3. Awww...isn't it breathtaking?
The sheer RUSH when standing right there breathing in the moist air and feeling so small by comparison.
There is nothing in the world like it. The falls are spellbinding.
And....it's where we met! Well kind of.
