So Much And Nothing

I spent 2 weeks in Istanbul with my Gypsy King, I have been home for more than a week and still, I have nothing to say. Or rather, I have a lot to say, but only to myself. For now, I can only offer you pictures. I can only offer how I saw the fantasy that is Istanbul and the glimpses I saw of its underbelly, as well.

There is too much to think about, too much to let go of, too much that is precious and held close to my heart. There is fear and love and the quest to grow up. There is so much and there is nothing. For now, let there be nothing.

But pictures.

We are eating up this buffet of pictures, and we will patiently and gladly wait to hear your voice again, once it feels strong and steady in your throat. :)

  2. Amazing pictures you've been sharing, Graciel. I can't even begin to imagine what all you are thinking and feeling. I'm sure it is all a bit overwhelming for you.

  5. What they said, and besides, sometimes nothing is a real cool hand. Sit with it a while.

Oh, dear Kindred...although our situations are very different, I understand where you are.

I see you. I honor you. I hold space for you.

Thank you for filling the gap with these amazing photos. SO much richness, beauty, and intrigue is contained within them.
